- Do you allow walk-ins at the restaurant?
We do. Whenever we have space, we are delighted to welcome walk-ins. For weekday lunch, early evenings and weekends, booking ahead is the best way to secure your preferred table.
- How can I reserve a table for a large group or celebration?
For group dining (9 to 20 guests), our Conservatory is the perfect space, with a feasting-style set menu served to share. For availability and enquiries, simply email hello@mortimerhousekitchen.com

- What are the opening hours at Mortimer House Kitchen?
We’re open seven days a week for Italian-themed breakfast, lunch and dinner, with brunch served on weekends. You will always find our latest opening hours here.
- Can I cancel or amend my booking?
Of course. You can make changes through the link in your booking confirmation email. For larger groups or private bookings, please contact us directly, and we’ll be happy to help.
- Where is the restaurant located in London?
You’ll find us in the heart of Fitzrovia in Central London at 37–41 Mortimer Street, London W1T 3JH, a short walk from Oxford Circus, Tottenham Court Road, and Goodge Street.e Street stations
- Do you offer gluten-free, vegetarian or halal options at the restaurant?
We do. Our menu features a variety of gluten-free and vegetarian dishes, all crafted with the same Italian influence and seasonal ingredients. While we are not a halal-certified restaurant, some dishes may be suitable. Our team will be happy to advise.
- Can I bring my own cake for a celebration?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring a celebration cake. Let our team know when you book so we can arrange everything for you. A small cakeage fee may apply. Please contact hello@mortimerhousekitchen.com to find out more.
- Is there parking nearby?
There is limited street parking in Fitzrovia and several paid car parks in the surrounding area. As we are centrally located in London, we always recommend public transport where possible. Check closest paid parking spots before you arrive, to make for a pleasant experience.
- Do you offer private dining or exclusive hire?
Yes. Our elegant Conservatory can be transformed into an intimate dining space for Christmas parties, birthdays, business lunches or milestone celebrations. For full hire or private dining, please get in touch with us at hello@mortimerhousekitchen.com, and we’ll talk you through the options.
- Do you serve brunch?
Yes. Weekend brunch is served on Saturdays and Sundays, 10am to 2.30pm.
Our weekend brunch has recently been re-launched and features seasonal dishes, Italian classics and a few indulgent treats. You can view our brunch menu to find out more. It’s always worth reserving ahead.
- Can I buy a gift card for Mortimer House Kitchen?
Yes. Gift vouchers can be purchased online and make a lovely reason to gather, whether it’s a birthday, anniversary, or just because.
- Can you accommodate allergies or dietary requirements?
Absolutely. Please let us know when you arrive, or mention it when booking, and our kitchen team will do everything they can to cater to your needs.
- Is the restaurant suitable for families?
Yes, we welcome guests of all ages and offer a warm, relaxed atmosphere for family dining. We also have a special kids menu for the little ones.
- Is Mortimer House Kitchen accessible?
Yes, and the team is always happy to help. If you have specific access requirements, email us ahead of your visit so we can plan the smoothest arrival.
- Are dogs allowed in the restaurant?
To keep things safe and comfortable around our open kitchen, we’re not able to welcome dogs in the restaurant. Recognised assistance dogs are welcome, and we can seat you in the lounge area.
